Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson) is a healthy and happy Canadian man in his mid-20s with a fiancée, a job and a recently purchased home. Or so he thinks. When a trip to the doctor results in the diagnosis of brain cancer, everything he thought he knew about his own life gets thrown to the wind.

Temporarily forgoing treatment, he buys a motorcycle and heads out on the highway for a short trip to clear his head. This small jaunt, however, turns into a journey as he travels from Toronto to Tofino, while he slowly realizes he might not be entirely happy with the hand he’s been dealt. Forgoing clichés, this humanistic film deftly balances comedy and pathos in a narrative filled with acutely observed details that will have you laughing out loud.
