George Washington Winsterhammerman (Zach Galifianakis, What Happens in Vegas) is an ordinary guy leading a comfortable life as a level-three ‘Tunt’ in the most successful enterprise in human history, Jeffers Corp. With a wife (Judy Greer, 27 Dresses), a child and a high paying job, George is a contented man. Or is he? When people start exploding around him, George initially tries to ignore the growing epidemic and continues living his normal life, that is, until he suffers from the first symptom of impending explosion: a dream.

Waking from his slumber, George begins to shake off his unsatisfying life. As he becomes more and more involved with his anarchist pole-vaulting brother and a woman who left Jeffers Corp. under mysterious circumstances, things quickly begin to evolve into chaos as his life spins out of control.
