According to experts, there are more tigers in private captivity in the USA than there are roaming wild in the entire world.

Dennis H. is the owner of 24 of those cats. He is also a convicted felon, former biker and probably not the guy you want living next door to you. Fifteen years ago, Dennis traded in his meth addiction for an obsession with tigers. Since then, he has been breeding, raising and selling the giant cats from his backyard in Indiana. A self-proclaimed animal lover, Dennis does not see anything wrong with keeping these wild animals caged. When a government inspection uncovers signs of neglect and dangerously inadequate housing, Dennis is given five days to find homes for all but three of his tigers or face permanently losing his license to own exotic animals.

Documentary filmmaker Camilla Calamandrei presents a fascinating character study of a man who is alternately infuriating and sympathetic, while at the same time raising important questions about the ethics of keeping wild animals in captivity.
