Sammy Smalls is literally too awkward for sex. The 21-year-old survived cancer as a kid, but she can't make it through one sexual encounter without breaking into uncontrollable laughter. When Sammy's crush, a scruffy-but-cute musician named Eugene, tells her they're sexually incompatible, Sammy decides to take matters into her own hands. Using just about anyone she can find, from her neighbours to the shoplifters she catches at her job as a store security guard, Sammy hones her skills in bed.

Sook-Yin Lee directs this wonderfully quirky black comedy.
